November 22, 2008
Youtube made went live Saturday night (11.22.08). At first we thought it just another commercial/celebrity takeover, but youtubers got to enjoy the spotlight. Great show. We followed the tweets at #youtubelive. Most seemed to be more impress with the quality of the stream as opposed to the quality of the show.
Youtube live was over just in time for us to catch the next episode of DL Hugley breaks the news. It’s been quiet on the #hughley front. The complaints are starting to subside a bit post election. The show is getting closer to its own formula. We’ll be following the tweets again this week at #hughley. Waiting on Hughley to log on to twitter.

#housewives is the tag for Real Atlanta Housewives. Follow this tag at your own risk. The hate continues for the Brovo Atlanta installment of the #housewives franchise. What’s even funny, we were listening to Atlanta talk radio this Saturday night and even they were talking about the ATL women. I think we were checking in to 750 on the AM dial to check traffic and got caught up in the hype. The host asked his listening audience how to redeem Atlanta. It was funny. ATL is upset and not liking the show but can’t stop watching. In this case ratings does not equal love. We were recently invited to an event that listed “Sheree” as its special guest. We laughed.
Lastly, we’re also follow #diversity on Twitter. As you know we had our 2nd Lunch & Stream this week on “The Expectation of Change.” While we come from an African American perspective, we wonder how much CHANGE will be about diversity. Diversity went to the poll, but where do we go from here? There’s not much diversity talking about #diversity. We’re told in the midst of true diversity its about the things you have in common not the differences. We’re learning.
So twitter me this. What are you following?
