BlackTalkers.com Launched – Dedicated to covering black talk media
Seeing Is Believing — Launched Nov. 2, 2009, Black Talkers.com will cover the black talk media industry.
The site covers nearly 30 Black Talk formatted radio stations, with its media directory; hundreds of TV and radio talk show hosts with its pair of media Talented 10 lists; and black talk media industry events with its front page section.
Black Talkers Founder Robert “Rob” Redding Jr. says he started the Web site after realizing more than 20 percent of people who listen to talk radio are black.
“And that tally does not include Black Talk formatted radio stations,” Redding said. “Black talkers and their listeners are the most neglected in talk radio today and BlackTalkers.com fills that need.”
