Maybe more Black women should stop using relaxers altogether and just embrace their natural texture. I went natural 2 years ago and my hair is healthier and stronger than it has every been since I was a teenager. There is nothing wrong or ugly about kinky or “nappy” hair. If you embrace what God gave you and take good care of it, it is good hair. Unfortunately some Black women would rather go bald and wear fake hair than to be seen with kinky hair. it is really ashame because I find that my natural hair is MUCH EASIER to take care of than it was when I had a relaxer.
