Twitter Me This: If Mo’Nique Wins the Oscar for Precious…” | Finish the headline | Great Debates

Buzz it

41st NAACP Image Awards - Press Room

Complete the headline above.  We’re on the countdown to Oscar.  How has it come to be a conflict for African Americans to celebrate African American Academy Award nominees and winners?  Comedian Mo’Nique has received much acclaim this 2010 award season for her role in the movie Precious. Historically, African Americans remain divided on previous winners and their selected roles for various and often espound upon reasons.  If Mo’Nique gets to walk across the Oscar stage, where do we stand since we’re so set upon being represented as a group in certain situations.

Twitter me this (or facebook): If Mo’Nique Wins the Oscar for the movie Precious . . . are you going to celebrate or hate (highly anticipate the error)? — finish the headline.
