But for his starring role in the Mario Van Peebles-directed Things Fall Apart, a movie he wrote, 50 dropped 54 pounds to play a college football player battling cancer.

Multiracial Students Designated on California School Forms | Seeing Is Believing Buzz

California‘s Department of Education is the first in the country to add “multiracial” to school enrollment forms. The wording “Multiracial students/staff may select two or more races” is now an option for school districts throughout the state for students and staff self-identification of their races.
California has now set the standard for other states to recognize appropriate terminology for multiracial students. California‘s progressive action will allow every state to add multiracial to their school forms, since every state reports student data to the same United States Department of Education at the federal level.
Project RACE, the national non-profit organization advocating for multiracial individuals was the driving force to finally allow people to check more than one racial classification beginning with the 2000 Census and on other government forms.

Closing out their first seasons, “Basketball Wives” and “What Chilli Wants” finale on Sunday, May 30th at 10PM* and 10:30PM* respectively. “Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business” will finale on Sunday, June 27 at 9PM*.

Bonnie Wong, President of Asian Women in Business, issued the following statement in response to the letter issued by members of Congress urging the Federal Communications Commission to reconsider classifying broadband service as telephone service.
Asian Women in Business thanks the 106 members of Congress that have written to the Federal Communications Commission and urged them to carefully reconsider the announcement of net neutrality rules set forth in the FCC’s “Third Way” announcement of May 6. Policy that seeks to manage competition by influencing the investment decisions of operators could have a negative impact on consumers, job growth and the economy.
