Early Reports: Sunset Pastor Zachery Tims | Death Notice


Sunday evening early reports began to speculate the death of Pastor Zachery Tims of the New Destiny Christian Center.  Roland S Martin later confirmed in tweets after communicating with several authorities in New York.  “An official cause of death for Zachery Tims has NOT been determined by NY Medical Examiner’s Office,” tweeted Martin.  News reports soon appeared confirming the death. At post time, Tims family was in route to New York.

We await official death notice and cause of death and will update accordingly. Our heartfelt condolences are shared at this difficult time.

Update 08.14 10:32PM: NDCC Staff uses Pastors twitter to announce church meeting amid speculations.

    He is with the Lord now, God has rested his soul and what ever he was going through, he is at Peace from it, I loved hearing Pastor Zackery Tims Jr. preaching, he was a great speaker and when ever he was the Host on TBN I made sure that I would watch it. People please don”t try to judge him, you never know what a person is going through, he was a good man of God and called by God. Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. 1 Chronicles 16:22 R.I.P. Pastor Tims Jr.
