Hair She Goes! Are we so far gone that we can’t recognize support? Are we so down with the haters that we can no longer accept love?  I knew black girl hate was an undercurrent, but I guess social media brings black girl hate even more to the forefront.

In the words of Badu, I’m sensitive about my ish.  I’m sensitive about supporting sisters. It is what I have done for the majority of my life. Having founded Words To My Sisters in the 90′s, very healing events conducive to our uniqueness to help women see that we are in this together.  Behind that came Sistory, a personality that I have represented well online; and Sistributions where we publish DryerBuzz.com and feature positive stories about women everyday.  Adding to that, I’m putting together a wonderful coffee table book to highlight the accomplishments of sisters, black girls, colored girls and our world.

Now comes Black girl hate full on and to the surface?  This is what we now have to contend with after all our decades of struggle? We now turn on each other.  Have I been so oblivious because I exist smack dab in the middle of the hue and the view of black women.  Not dark enough for the dark girls; light enough for the light girls; big enough for the big girls; nor skinny enough for the skinny girls; then let me tell you ALL where IT’S AT!  It is in your mind boo boo. Ain’t nothing new but you.

Love for self AND OTHERS is not a shade.  It’s not a curve.  It’s not a kink.  It’s natural but not like you think.

VideoBuzz: V103′s Ryan Cameron with Elle Duncan hosted a panel of bloggers which included DryerBuzz.com and key people from MediaTakeOut, Bossip, and Atlanta’s Freddy O

The panel was asked by Ryan Cameron, do bloggers destroy relationships? The relationship in question was that of Usher and Tameka J Raymond. Now get this — even though Fred (in yellow) an obvious MALE from MediaTakeOut admitted wrong doing with regards to Mrs. Raymond and apologized, Raymond dismissed his actions and backed the bus up over women. However I think we ran into a speed bump.  WATCH.

    Social media and gossip blogs suck! But Tameka is nowhere near attractive and her attitude doesn’t help either. Now the black bald head chick on the panel does come at her all personable as if she was fired by her or something. Most black women who are bitter and come off “hateful”, do resemble the dryerbuzz chick. Just a little food for thought.

    And oh yeah, I never even heard of this site til I saw this interview. Or that other guys site whatever his name is with the cap on.

    I never heard of dryerbuss either but i just had to find out why this Yolanda person sounded like she hated Tameka. But i see why now….smh. (and to think she calls herself a motivational blogger) You made yourself look as stupid as you sound.

    Did I highly anticipate the error (hate) . . . yes I did no doubt. Did I go to far in a round of defending black women (attacked even after a male admitted wrong doing)? Perhaps.

    Now at this point we can either fix this OR continue to allow people to vent and keep the divide going. Can’t save or support them all.
