Obama for America cordially invites you to join Valerie B. Jarrett, Senior Advisor to President Barack Obama, and Michael Blake, Deputy Director of the Obama Campaign’s Project Vote and former Associate Director of Constituency Outreach for The White House, at a reception to mark One Year Out from the 2012 Presidential Election.
On Sunday, November 6, 2011, “We Can’t Wait Atlanta” will take place at the historic FOX Theater, from 6:00-8:00 pm. This reception will present a unique opportunity for hundreds of enthusiastic Obama supporters to show their support the Obama for America campaign. At the same time, it will also allow the campaign to have an opportunity engage in an important dialogue with notable representatives from Atlanta’s civic, philanthropic, business, entertainment and young professional communities. It is critical that the President’s supporters in Atlanta come out and participate in this dynamic event.
“We Can’t Wait Atlanta” will consist of two parts: a separate meet-and-greet for those who are interested in contributing at the VIP level, and a more inclusive general reception for those who make a general contribution.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are kaput.Today, Ryan Seacrest, the executive producer of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” confirmed that the reality TV star and NBA player are divorcing after 72 days of marriage, tweeting “Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning. I touched base with her, getting a statement in just a few mins.”
In divorce documents posted on TMZ.com, Kardashian cites “irreconcilable differences” as her reason for ending the marriage. The documents list Laura Wasser as Kardashian’s attorney. Wasser is known for brokering star divorces, including those of Britney Spears, Mariah Carey and Angelina Jolie.

Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain’s campaign is staunchly denying reports that the former chief executive of Godfather’s Pizza was involved in a sexual harassment case, saying the allegations are “questionable.”
Cain’s chief of staff, Mark Block, said on MSNBC today that the GOP candidate “has never sexually harassed anyone. Period. End of story.”
“Every negative word and accusation in the article is sourced to a series of unnamed or anonymous sources. Questionable at best,” Block said of the Politico report, which found that Cain was accused of inappropriate behavior by two women during his tenure as National Restaurant Association head from 1996 to 1999.

If you thought last election was interesting. Think again. These election season right here is going to be one for the history books. Everybody is trying to find where they belong. Clearly one has got to pick a side. Be it tea, coffee or occupy party, 99% versus 1%, or the have’s vs have not’s vs those that have not paid for what they got (a saying by Earl Wilson).
In a race that, at post time, might actually see Barack Obama versus Herman Cain, now comes the Raging Elephants proclaiming G.O.P. is the New Black. There is also the accompanying billboard annoucing MLK as a republican. All be it the billboards are up in Texas, home of Rick Perry, surely we are counting the days until Perry is out of the race.
RagingElephants.org purports a mission of “Leading America’s 2nd Emancipation.” Their mission goes on to state:
• Dedicated to advance the cause of conservatism-libertarianism by growing the ranks of conservative voters through RACIAL DIVERSITY. We envision a rejuvenation of conservatism by seeing more Americans of color join the movement.
• We will educate those that have been shackled by the chains of liberal/socialist ideology about its destructive nature and challenge them to reconsider their party affiliations that promote such political ideology.
• In regards to “public servants” that promote an agenda of liberalism/socialism and anti-constitutional legislation, we will be confrontational and peaceful agitators. RagingElephants.org will expose actions by “public servants” that will consequentially damage the fabric of American society and its founding principles.
• We will consistently launch civic-grassroots offensives to effect transformation of the political topography throughout the communities of color.
