Social Streams of Income | Create Buzz and Loyalty | Learn.DryerBuzz.com
Learn.DryerBuzz.com — Got excited when I noticed one of my favorite social media products added a revenue sharing link. Cha ching. More money in my social streams of income. I am a firm believer in revenue sharing.
Free Ain’t Free
Using social media, we create a lot of content for a few billionaires as we engage from product to product such as twitter, Facebook, and the latest craze Pinterest.
Don’t get it twisted, we are using someone’s product. We use a lot of them, whether they are available to us for free or not. After all what is FREE? Free means somehow someway someone is going fully reimbursable each expense. Never get it twisted. Free ain’t free.
Personally I like to pay a little something in order to have some control over the products I use, especially when it comes to branding and influence. I almost always opt for the pro version or upgrade. Free can be costly without control.
The Way We Were
Revenue sharing was big in the early days of the Internet. A sales force was needed to help create buzz and loyalty, so commissions and incentives were offered to help drive traffic and customers to a website. Then we went through a period where everything was free. Not a soul was making money. Those days are over. Free costs. Loyalty cost more.
Google products remained steadfast when it came to revenue sharing. Those who create videos via YouTube enjoy a nice social stream of income. So do some bloggers depending on their traffic. Other affiliate programs are still around and holding steady. Advertising is also bouncing back as more and more seek loyalty among their customers.
Businesses are returning to the idea of revenue sharing and incentives creating social streams of income while using social media.
New Stream In Town
Social streams of income encompasses ways of making money from sharing content and information online. After a day of additively sharing photos, chatting, giving advice, blogging and enjoying social media, it is nice to wake up the next morning with money in an account.
Instead of loading photos to social media profiles that do not offer revenue share, load them to sites that do. For instance, if you are loading so many pictures that you have darn near become a photographer and developed an audience, you might want to launch a blog and use it to create social streams of income.
Seeking out social streams of income does not mean become social for the money. It simply means getting paid what you and your content are worth.
Cha Ching Another Stream
If you love tweeting about movies and often share links, then share links from sites that offer commissions. If you love talking about authors and sharing new books, then again, share links that offer commissions.
If you sell your own products, offer commissions and watch your sales force grow by leaps and bounds. Share the wealth and watch friends and followers create buzz for your business.
Attracting a Sales Force with Social Streams of Income
Social consumers love 3rd party websites. Attract today’s social customer away from top sites without incentives or loyalty programs. There is a reason sites like e-junkie.com, eventbrite.com, and others are hot. Entrepreneurs use them to attract a social sales force with commissions and incentives often not offered by mom and pop sites. Therefore these sites are referred and shared more. Behind the scenes, these sites have a sales force looking to create social streams of income in exchange for creating buzz.
Consumers are knowledgeable and comfortable with the checkout process at larger sites. Selling via 3rd party sites allow you to tap in to added marketing and traffic. It also allows you to tap into a sales force enjoying social streams of income. These sites offer commissions to bloggers and others who promote, which is why you see a lot of Amazon, Eventbrite, and other links via social networking sites.
Stock Your Stream
To be competitive, be prepared to offer commissions to create a sales force. Don’t be afraid to offer 2 to 3% here or there. The most competitive go as high as 10% or even higher. If you commission it, they will come and create buzz.
Attending festivals this summer, am finding too many entrepreneurs blocking new and increased sales, in an attempt to avoid fees and revenue sharing. Share the wealth. For every 10% commission paid out equals 90% you keep from a sale you would never have without the commission.
Social streams of income creates loyalty and builds partnerships with a sales force willing to create buzz.
