VideoBuzz:City Councilman Jay Roberson of Birmingham Alabama host Bernice King and High School Students from Atlanta, Ga on a Nonviolence Youth Summer Camp Tour. Watch as Rev. Bernice King tours the jail cell where her father was held in Birmingham, takes a walk through Kelley Ingram Park the place where the Children’s March of 1963 occurred and sits on the steps of 16 Street Baptist Church the place where four little girls lost their lives in the tragic Church Bombing of September 15, 1963.

The day camp sessions, which conducted at The King Center, include “experiential learning” field trips to Montgomery and Birmingham, Alabama, as well as team-building activities.  Participants in the N.O.W. (Nonviolence Opportunity Watch) Encounter include 40 young people from diverse communities, ages 13-18 in each session.
