MatchingMillions Spotlight: How To Deal With Burnout While Side Hustling | Chasing Your Freedom
Clipped from How To Deal With Burnout While Side Hustling | chasingyourfreedom.com
When you’re focused on building a side business while working full-time, you deal with a range of emotions. When you first get started, you’re on fire…..motivated and taking serious action. You get up early, work on your business during your lunch breaks, and sneak in time in the evenings and late nights. This can go on for weeks and maybe even for several months. You’re enthusiastic and hopeful about your future.
Then it happens.
Things get nuts at work or with your personal life. Your house is in disarray (and now it’s annoying). You start to feel fat or generally out of shape. The last thing you want to do when you leave your job is to work again, even if it’s on something that you really enjoy doing.
You wonder for a moment why you are working so doggone hard and if it’s really worth it. You start to ask yourself “Is this business EVER going to make enough money?” or ”Am I EVER going to get rid of this all debt?”
Burnout.
I’ve been there, and to be honest it still happens on occasion even though I’m no longer side hustling and am working fewer hours.
If you’re suffering from burnout right now as you’re side hustling, I want to offer you a few strategies for dealing with it that have worked for me.
