#DryerBuzz — We’ve seen these plots play out time and time again. The money maker can’t stop making money. Saw this plot twists movies, music, comedy and other industries. The money trail can’t stop flowing or have the potential for disruption.

A black quarterback, still a rarity, was Atlanta’s hottest commodity. Check the date, the last time Michael Vick took the field as an Atlanta Falcon was 2006? My sports guy on vacation at post time so help me out. Yet, you can’t land in Atlanta, attend a game, walk talk or even think about the city without citing or trying not to mention the dome was the home of Mike Vick #7.

While there’s no playbook, written rule or sports law, was stopping the money NFL money trail Vick’s real crime?

 

Many fans still torn between their love affair with Mike Vick and a commitment to near Super Bowl … I’m sorry too soon? Let me rephrase … let’s just say, even after making it to big game, some still see Matt Ryan as a placeholder. Matt’s not the city’s first love. He’s the good guy. The provider. The winner. Again, sorry about Super Bowl.

Throughout Vick’s dog fighting scandal, investigation, conviction, and serving his time then release and return to football, we heard about some 40,000 individuals involved in the sport of animal cruelty. Protests against Mike aint stop. But what about the rest of them? The other teams? His opponents in the rings of dog fighting?

Still Vick can’t show up to his own retirement celebration without a protesting crowd. Mention of his name on social media garners comments for days.

He served his time. So what’s the real crime? Why didn’t he comeback as a Falcon? Plenty color characters still rocking NFL official jersies and cashing checks.
