Parade Alert: 2017 Georgia Veterans Day Parade | WWI Centennial | November 11, 2017

The 36th Annual Georgia Veterans Day Events in Downtown Atlanta, Saturday, November 11, 2017 schedule: Except where noted, these events are free and open to the public

10:45 am – Parade Pre-Opening Ceremony in front of the World of Coca Cola on Baker Street. Atlanta Vocal Project performs.

11:100 am – Veterans Day Parade, Wes Sarginson, formerly of WXIA 11-Alive will return as the celebrity Master of Ceremonies. Veterans Day Parade in Downtown Atlanta begins, starting on Peachtree Street, south of Ralph McGill/Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd. Continues down Baker Street and onto Marietta Street. Ends at the Georgia World Congress Center at International Blvd. Parade Reviewing Stand is located on Baker Street in front of the World of Coca-Cola.

12:30 to 3:00 pm – Veterans Festival at Pemberton Place, meet Veterans and enjoy the music of High Ridge Band and Patriot Choir of UNG.

6:00 to 10:00 pm – Freedom Ball at the Oceans Ballroom of the Georgia Aquarium **This is a Ticketed event, includes seated dinner. Wes Sarginson, formerly of WXIA 11-Alive will return as the celebrity Master of Ceremonies. Musical entertainment by Les Still Swinging Band.
