Mo’Nique Dishes On Her Open Marriage, Hairy Legs | PopEater.com | HUH? Combing the headlines for the buzz. . .

March 4, 2010

How did Mo’Nique’s Oscar buzz go from stellar performance to freaky deaky.  We might be jumping the buzz, but you can change the world with a headline and all headlines at post time point to “freaky.”  Last year during her Oscar special, Barbara Walters asked for a lap dance.  Not a pretty picture.  Now we got to watch to see how the conversaton turned to this.  Should we be thankful its Walters last?

16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards - Red Carpet
In Barbara Walter’s annual Oscar Special, nominee Mo’Nique revealed her open marriage with husband Sidney Hicks isn’t quite so open. “Let me say this,” she said. “I have not had sex outside my marriage with Sidney.”

But the same might not be true for him, NY Daily News reports. “Could Sid have sex outside of his marriage with me?” the ‘Precious’ star asked. “Yes. That’s not a deal-breaker. That’s not something that would make us say, ‘Pack your things and let’s end the marriage.’”

Beyonce Turns Up the Heat with New Fragrance | SunKissedMommy.com

February 3, 2010

sunkissedmommy.com — When first saw Beyonce, the first thought that came into my head was “damn she is slim”. It is 100% clear to me now that the camera definitely adds weight because she looked like a doll, a pretty doll nonetheless in a very nicely fit red dress. There wasn’t a time that I looked in her direction and she wasn’t dancing. It could have been an ode to her sister  spinning the tunes but I don’t think Bey took a break at all.

Here are some press pics from the evening:

The Heat-Beyonce

Picture 4 of 25

Speaking of spinning, I am not a music connoisseur and ever since I started reproducing, I really don’t do the party scene too much so I really couldn’t tell you what makes a good DJ but Solange looked like a professional and there wasn’t a still body in the room, so from my account, she was great! I did listen to see how she mixed songs in and I recall me having to do a slight jerk to keep up with the beat but again, she looked glamorous DJing so what else really matters?

Milli Vanilli, the Real Story — 20 Years Later | PopEater.com

February 3, 2010

Exclusive: Twenty years ago in 1990, Fab Morvan won what now very well may be the most controversial Grammy Award ever given out. His group Milli Vanilli was given the Best New Artist award. Months later, when it was admitted that Morvan and partner Rob Pilatus weren’t the ones who sang on hit songs like ‘Blame It On the Rain’ and ‘Girl You Know It’s True,’ their Grammy was taken back and the media and music industry chewed them up and spit them out just as fast as they built them up. Now, two decades after that tumultuous year, PopEater had the chance to chat with Morvan about those rocky days, and what his life is like now, and why current artists using Auto-Tune are essentially doing the same thing Milli Vanilli did. “People think they know the story with us, but they don’t,” Morvan told PopEater. Well, now you can.
