Twitter Me This: Who Put Michael Jackson to Sleep?

DryerBuzz.com – It’s black. Its white. Its American media with shades of green. Green as in envy? White as in tell only one story even when you are wrong. Black as in make it controversial. Michael Jackson already spent time in court, why must America try MJ in death? The obvious question has yet to be answered. We know the jet setting jet lagged hard working world traveler craved sleep. So who put Michael Jackson to sleep? Meanwhile, every other question continues to take center stage.
About MJ’s children, is it me or is American media asking what good white people terminated their rights for Michael Jackson to raise their children? Because that is what I’m hearing? One male reporter for CNNfail HLN actually said media should look into rumors behind how Jackson came to be the father of three children who look nothing like him. Regardless of how the children genetically, technologically, or scientifically came to be, at least with two of Jackson’s children, he married and divorced the “mother” who terminated her rights. Sounds like the making of children to me. Like so many superstars, as such is the fad in America, Jackson could have flown to whatever convenient continent and simply picked the children he wanted. I digress.
In the words of Michael Jackson (or the song writer) “we have to change the world, and I can’t do it by myself.”
Thanks to John H Johnson, the late publisher of a weekly chronicle of life for the diaspora, I know we have been here before and this too shall pass. Michael J Jackson will one day be remembered in true tribute. Immediately after death, folks will fight over money, green, envy and assets. Natalie Cole kidney came from deceased fan – CNN.com

Cnn.com — Natalie Cole’s search for a new kidney ended this week when someone with a compatible organ died and their family asked that it be given to the singer, according to the organ procurement group that handled the donation.
Cole, who underwent a successful kidney transplant at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles Tuesday, was “responding well and recuperating” Thursday, her publicist said.

What’s up with that brother? Depends how much you want to know. At post time @omarepps was probably still “having an incredible time at the beach with the family.” @TONYROCK couldn’t “wait to get back to South Florida” and has a tour stop in Atlanta at Centerstage coming up May 1st. @questlove aka Questo of The Roots was sending updates via the web and replying to his followers all the while we were watching him on @jimmyfallon. Meanwhile @Tyrese4ReaL aka Tyrese Gibson is already more than 2000 updates into his twitter addiction. He’s following @OfficialAlBSure who has protected updates and @NeYoCompound. The list could go on and on and twitter has become the new six degrees of separation. It even looks like @the_real_usher checks in about once a week and @RealTalibKweli seems to be a regular with more than 2k updates.
Now before one starts stalking a brother, remember any thing you say can and will be seen and searched on twitter. Regular @ replies are visible to the entire twitter audience when profiles are visited and in several apps in real time as well as by your followers. It’s not polite to blow up some body’s DM if they elect to follow you. It’s ok to share links, but once is enough. Repetitive or negative comments could get you dismissed. Also keep in mind there’s more than one way to follow besides following someone individually. It won’t be long now before twitter will have to become some one’s alibi. Keep it simple, honest, and share information. Promoting one’s self is the best form of narcissism and perfectly ok on twitter. There’s an audience for everyone.
Of course the number one brother on twitter… no its not Ashton Kutcher @aplusk. The one brother that we have seen take over the top spot (meaning damn near everybody is talking about him) based on what he does every week… Ray J, whom we have yet to find with a twitter account.

Kutcher recently made a dare to ding dong ditch Ted Turn to get 1M followers to beat a CNN twitter after his following reached 80K. The dare was all for charity which brought @Oprah to twitter.

The Cut — TheCougar.tv celebrated TV Land PRIME’s anticipated reality series “The Cougar” with exclusive and exciting content for the program, which premiered Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The show’s microsite invited visitors to meet the boys of “The Cougar” with an extensive photo gallery complete with bios and the ability to rate the guys from “Beergoggle Worthy” to “Smokin’.” Additionally, in the weeks to come, the Website will feature behind-the-scenes footage taken by the guys with their very own video cameras as well as weekly blogs from eliminated suitors, the host Vivica A. Fox and the cougar herself, Stacey Anderson. For those that missed the show, TheCougar.tv will feature full streaming episodes the day after they premiere on-air.

For the first time in four decades SeaWorld’s star killer whale is communicating in something other than clicks, squeaks, whistles and trills. Shamu has joined Twitter. At post time, @RealShamu was 217 updates into a twitter addiction tweeting on subjects as diverse as Moroccan tree goats, Brazilian soccer teams, the Obamas’ Portuguese water dog “Bo,” pubs in the English countryside and the paint scheme on Southwest Airlines planes. Asked if he likes to eat lobsters, Shamu replied emphatically that he did not, telling his readers simply, “They’re pinchy.”
