Is now a good time to get Real Estate License? – Britta Rivera | Frankel & Giles | Monday Money

August 2, 2010

Buzz it

As the Director of Sales & Recruiting at Weichert Realtors-Frankel & Giles, many have asked if this is the right time to get a real estate license. My answer is yes! If you believe the real estate stories, in the media about the current state of the real estate industry, they would make you think this is not true. However, in reality, this is the BEST time to get licensed!

People will always need somewhere to live, whether they chose to buy or rent and this will never change. The housing market has shifted, but agents are adjusting which is resulting in their continued success. With low interest rates and huge discounts being offered, shoppers are out in full swing looking to take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity.

If you are self-motivated, dedicated, hard working, and a social networking expert, real estate could be the exact thing you need to consider.

Buzzing the Blogs — Oops, the word “allegedly” should be in the title of this story. Anyway, Larry King’s messy on/off, maybe/soon divorce from wife number seven, Shawn King, has turned nasty with allegations that he took his suspenders off with his wife’s sister. After the last several months of “breaking news” on other folks’ affairs, unsubstantiated rumors, gossip, tidbits, do tell me more type of talk show, 76 year old Larry King is not getting the 24 hours news coverage that CNN and other media outlets have given to a number of scandals over the years. But the media lack of covering one of their own who is now the center of a he said/she said war of words demonstrates how the media outlets chooses the lives they pick apart.

…the truth is that the other woman may have a variety of agendas fueling her behavior. Depending on her age, social class and marital status, she might be carousing with another woman’s man for several reasons other than love. According to the article, below are the top five.

#1 The sex is hot. Just like a lot of men, many women crave sex. As a result, when some women meet a man that they have an undeniable sexual attraction to, they rush forward and pounce. Although it’s not always admitted to, this is one reason why some women just can't let a married man go. They love the sex and, as a result, refuse to end the relationship.
