Question everything or fall for anything. The branding says “our lives, our world, our stories,” but the bottom line says “satisfies the desire of African Americans to stay informed and connected with their community.” TheGrio.com also calls itself “the first video-centric news community.” Well people don’t know what they don’t know and when they don’t know, you can tell them anything.
We’ve been here before so The Grio can’t possibly be “the first.” As for as “aggregated and original video packages,” many sources, including the source you’re reading, have done this for years. One might also include Russell Simmon’s Global Grind and TV One Online not to mention a few others – doh!

Video Buzz: grab your popcorn and watch the grand exit of the Rivers women from the Apprentice. None of the Donald’s firing have made much sense in this seasons Celebrity Apprentice. Clint Black, thought to be worthy of firing many times, remains while everyone else is picked off. Yet the boardroom has been on fire each episode, but nothing like this week. Not even Omarosa can compare to the spitfire of the Rivers women. Joan Rivers was not fired, but left with Melissa after insulting the poker player/nazi and the dumb blonde one more time. Meanwhile, buzzing questions remain – why was Melissa running around with a leg brace? Will Joan Rivers return to the Celebrity Apprentice? Who’s next to hire and fire the Rivers women?

Apparently Mcconaughey, in an Elle interview, was trying to pay a compliment which turned into a diss or a diss which he tried to make into a compliment. How he went from Barbara Walters to Black Women (according to links on the comments) is beyond us. Either way, the opinions on the subject matter as to whether or not Black Women are coverworthy are about to get the retweet on twitter where you can find the buzz behind the buzz and the comments.
