 The Greater Atlanta Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure today releases its annual Request for Proposal (RFP) for the 2013-2014 grant cycle. Local breast health organizations are encouraged to apply for funding to provide lifesaving breast health services to the medically underserved women in the community. Komen Atlanta is currently offering grants of up to $150,000 for innovative, non-duplicative projects that address breast health and/or breast cancer services. The Clippings: 17 people injured in Tuscaloosa bar shooting – CBS Atlanta 46

The shots were fired at 12:29 a.m. at Copper Top Bar at 4th and 23rd streets. Police arrived at the scene two minutes later.   The shooting scene outside Copper Top Bar. Investigators said a man outside the bar shot into the building. According to DCH Regional Medical Center, 17 victims are being treated.
